How's Ogerpon doing after everything that happened in the SV story? I adore your art style, and the little snippet of her eating icecream and pouting was so precious

At least she has a traditional matcha-anko soft serve with dango for her Magikarp taiyaki cone. 🍦🍵🫘

I would say she stayed in Kitakami where she keeps the Lousy Trio & Pecharunt in check, & is adored by the townsfolk. I could see Kieran being good friends with her now that he’s gone through his character arc. Overall, I’d say she’s very happy & well-cared for. ^_^

Back to Tokyo! From the official Pokemon cafe adjacent to Azubudai Hills Gallery, where they have an AMAZING Pokemon craft exhibit, seriously one of the coolest things I saw there.

From the Magical Lollipop Girl maid cafe in Akihabara.

Just regular hot cocoa at a cafe, but the Jiji Kiki's Delivery Service teacup is adorable.

Magikarp taiyaki at Kurikoan in Akihabara! Last thing I ate before I left. What an incredible sweets journey.

Sharkie's Magikarp Festival Food Tierlist!

Hey there T-Squad! Hope you're all having a great time hanging out with the Karp. You know I keep my squad in the know, so if you're at the Magikarp Fest, or you're thinking of going, here's the lowdown on the best places to get snacks AND the stuff to stay away from.

Magikarp Taiyaki- C TIER - the magikarp shape is a plus, but inside you don't get a lot of filling. A little bland. Kind of a disappointment, but gets points for presentation.

Fried Oreos- A TIER- Always a hit. Pretty standard, but a must grab every time.

Lemonade- ??? TIER- I'd rank this if I could have found any?? Literally I think some guy drank it all. Sorry T-Squad maybe next time.

Karp Fries- B TIER- maybe a little over seasoned, but still petty decent. Idk why they tried to call them something different these are legit just fries.

Rainbow Dango- A TIER- Another solid carnival food. Definitely a staple. Would grab some again.

Deep Fried Onions- F TIER- What the hell man? Why would you even sell this? Probably the worst thing I tried all day. Anyone who tells you they liked this is LYING.

Karp Cone- S TIER- What else was I gonna put it in? The presentation on these is great, awesome magikarp shaped cones and somehow they even got the sprinkles to look Magikarp shaped. If you only have cash to get one treat at the fest THIS is your go to.

speaking of big fish-shaped foods in anime...as a kid I've always wanted to try the big taiyaki Ash is eating in this one episode of the Pokemon anime:

Granted, at the time I'd first watched it on VHS as a kid, I didn't know what taiyaki was, let alone that it's a dessert, I just assumed they just took a Magikarp and breaded/fried it whole. In retrospect I think I'd much rather have a big taiyaki tho. XD

Red beams when the promise of food is presented in front of him, nearly lighting up like Pika's lightning bolt, licking his lips and eyeballing the treats with interest.

[ Is everything as good as it looks? ] He asks, before taking the treats, one in each hand respectively. Raising the magikarp shaped cookie his new companion's way, the beige munna nibbles on the treat with a delighted chirp, the meowth coin atop it's head shimmering with pleasure.

How odd!

Red takes his own bite, eyes lighting up with stars, and he grins, playfully elbowing the other trainer, silently thanking her with a wink.
